Here's the deal: we show up with serious equipment and grind those stumps 6 inches below grade, guaranteed. In practice it's almost always a foot or more by the time we chew through the root ball. That's deep enough that the stump never comes back, and you can mow right over the spot like it was never there.

Cleanup is part of every job. The pile leaves with us, and you won't find it tacked onto the quote as an extra. Grinding churns the native soil up as we go and mostly fills the hole back in, so the spot's ready to seed or replant by the time we drive away.

Low tree branches scraping the lawn or a window?

We handle shrub and bush trimming, full shrub removal, and light tree work reachable from the ground or a short ladder. Hedges, foundation plantings, ornamental shrubs, low limbs over walkways: that's our wheelhouse. The trimmings get hauled off as part of the job, same as always.

Got a major branch over the house? A full tree that needs to come down?

That's outside what we do, but we know the guy. We'll put you in touch with the certified arborist we trust. He sends stump jobs our way, we send tree work his way, and you end up with the right crew for the job. Call us anyway and we'll get you his number same day.

How deep do you grind stumps?

6 inches below grade is the guarantee. In practice we almost always go a foot or more to chew through the major root ball, so most homeowners end up with a deeper grind than they were quoted for.

Do you work on weekends?

Yes. Saturday 8am–8pm, Sunday 8am–5pm, no upcharge.

What areas do you serve?

How long does stump grinding take?

15–45 minutes for most residential stumps. Larger stumps or multi-stump jobs run longer. We give you a realistic time window when we book.

What happens to the wood chips?

Hauled off the property as part of every job. The pile leaves with us, and it never shows up as an extra charge. Read why leftover grindings are bad news.

Can you grind stumps near structures?

Yes. Our equipment works in tight spaces and near fences, buildings, walkways, and existing landscaping. Tighter access can affect pricing.

Do I need to be home?

No. Just make sure we can get to the stump and payment is squared away.

Will grinding kill the roots?

Yes. Grinding 6″ or more below grade kills the cambium layer, so the stump can't resprout. Whatever roots are left just break down underground over time.

Do you handle major tree removal?

No. We stick to light tree trimming, shrubs, and bushes. For major tree work or big overhanging branches, we'll connect you with the certified arborist we trust. More on our trimming scope →

Do you offer free estimates?

Photo quotes are free. Text or email us a few pics and you'll have a quote back within 24 hours. Onsite visits are $35, credited toward the job when you hire us. Most stump jobs we can quote from photos alone.
