StumpBusters is a small, family-operated crew based in Elizabethtown. Stump grinding is the core of the business; trimming, debris hauling, and topsoil restoration round it out.
We live in the area we work in, and most of our jobs come from referrals and repeat customers. When you call or text, you're talking to the people who do the work.
Since 2019 we've ground out everything from single backyard stumps to full property clearings, and the process is the same on every job: fixed quote up front, a real arrival window, and the grindings hauled off when we're done.
We grind six inches below grade on every job, guaranteed, and typically go a foot or more. That's deep enough to plant grass, build a deck, or set a fire pit on the spot.
You get a one-hour arrival window when you book, and we keep it. If something pushes the schedule, you hear from us before the window, not after.
The price we quote is the price you pay. Cleanup and haul-away are already in the number, and there's no adjustment at the truck.
We work across York, Lebanon, Lancaster, and Dauphin counties.

Beyond grinding, we handle shrub removal, light tree trimming, debris hauling, and topsoil and seed restoration. Work that needs climbing gear or arborist judgment gets referred to a certified arborist we trust. We'd rather make the right call than overreach on your property.
Every job is covered by our Zero-Risk Guarantee: six inches below grade on every stump, workers' comp, commercial liability, and commercial auto active on every site, and a signed copy yours on request.
One stump in a backyard or a full property clearing, the process is the same: photo quote, fixed number, scheduled window, cleanup included.
Payment plans are available if you want to spread out the cost.
