Our Promise To You

The Zero-Risk
Guarantee™

A signed legal document we hand you before every job.

Before we start any job, we hand you a signed legal document with one promise at the center:

If anyone gets hurt or anything gets damaged while we're working on your property, that's our responsibility to handle. Never yours.

Our Workers. Our Responsibility.

Tree work is dangerous: chainsaws, heavy equipment, falling limbs. If one of our crew gets injured on your property, our workers' compensation insurance handles it. Your homeowner's insurance is never touched, and nothing about it ever lands on your doorstep. That's what our insurance is for.

Our Equipment. Our Mess.

If our stump grinder kicks a rock through your windshield or a limb we're cutting clips your fence, we take care of it through our general liability insurance. You don't need to file a claim on your homeowner's policy. We handle it through ours.

When We Leave, We're Done.

This guarantee covers what happens while we're on your property doing the work. Once the job is complete and we drive away, your yard is your yard, same as it was before we showed up. Clean break.

Workers' Compensation
Every employee, every job, classified for tree care, not landscaping.
Commercial General Liability
$1M+ per occurrence, classified for stump grinding and tree work.
Commercial Auto Liability
All vehicles and equipment on every job site.

We're happy to send you a Certificate of Insurance straight from our insurance carrier, not a photocopy out of our files. Just ask.

Talk is cheap. Paper is accountable.

Before the first cut, you're holding a signed legal document with our name on it and a Certificate of Insurance sent straight from our carrier. You're not taking our word for anything, and you're not chasing paperwork down after a problem. The proof is in your hand before our equipment comes off the trailer.

That's the standard on every job, big or small. Your yard, your peace of mind, our liability.

We put together a full guide to how tree service insurance works: what general liability and workers' comp actually cover, and what Pennsylvania law requires. Tree Service Insurance, Explained →

This is the waiver we hand to every customer before work begins. Feel free to read the whole thing. It's written to protect you.

What is the StumpBusters Zero-Risk Guarantee?
It's a signed legal document confirming that injuries to our crew and damage caused by our work are handled by us and our insurance, never by you. We put it in writing and hand it to you before any work begins.
Does StumpBusters have workers' compensation insurance?
Yes. Every employee is covered under our workers' compensation policy, classified specifically for tree care work. We're happy to send you a Certificate of Insurance directly from our carrier before we arrive.
Am I liable if a StumpBusters worker gets hurt on my property?
No. Our workers' compensation insurance covers our crew, and the signed guarantee puts that responsibility in writing before we start. Your homeowner's policy stays out of it entirely.
What if your equipment damages my property?
Our commercial general liability insurance covers it. If we damage your property, fence, vehicle, or anything else during the job, we handle it through our policy. You don't need to file a claim on your homeowner's insurance.
Does this guarantee cover anything after the job is done?
No. It covers what happens while we're actively on your property doing the work. Once we're finished and we leave, your property is your responsibility, just as it was before we showed up.
Do I get the guarantee on every job?
Yes. A single $150 stump gets the same signed document as a multi-day commercial job. You get it before work begins, and it's yours to keep.
